HoM - destroyer weapons
Only me who thinks that the destroyer weapons shuld be "Dedicated" to the char that put it in his/hers HoM instead of being customized to that char. i mean, Derv's has only one weapon they use and that the scythe, but my "main" char is a derv so i want full HoM, but i "cant" cuz if i buy (example) a sword its going to be customized, and a derv with sword isnt so good right -.- but if we look at Warriors or monks and other proffesions(not sin tho) they can hav an off-hand, a staff, a wand, sword, axe etc = more weaps in HoM. so i good idea shuld be to do like Anet did with the minipets, "dedicate" to a chars HoM but another char can use AND customize it (20% more dmg). with weaps it shuld be the same thing.
im not english, but i hope u can understand my text.

Why are you using a weapon that is not customized?

Because a customised staff of Curses (for example) is useless for a Dervish.

My necro uses only martial weapons with +5 energy, so a staff may look cool, but my nec will never use it, or a scythe, or a hammer, or some daggers...

Makes sense to me.
There's one problem though, those who already customized their items just for the HoM probably won't like the idea...

The problem with an object being "dedicated to the hall of monuments" is you can still trade it. So (if I understand you right) if dedicating gave a 20% buff too, then people could trade weapons with a 20% buff and it would screw up the market.
You would have people asking more money for items they dedicated in GWEN!
I dont get why objects you dedicate arent customised to you anyway. How can you display an item in the HOM if you can later trade it away? Surely you should own an item you dedicate!

He didn't say dedicate would grant another +20% Damage, he said that dedicate would stack with customized, so you could have a:
Tormentor Sword
Damage +15% (while Health is above 50%)
Damage +20%
Customized for Joe Somebody
Dedicated to Hall of Monuments (by a different player, say Jane Nobody)
Joe Somebody couldn't show it in his Hall of Monuments, and Jane Nobody can't equip it anymore.
Honestly, pointless. Weapons should have been customized to the account instead of characters.

They did so with miniatures, so it's possible.
Why not?

its just for HoM, not for battle. i customize it for my warrior that NEEDS a sword/axe/hammer, but i dedicate it to my derv. = its in my dervs HoM but its used by my warrior. same with minipets, dedicated to my dervs HoM but used by another char.
think again, plz.

dedicate does NOT give a buff. - works just like the dedication on minipets.

Solution: Take customization out of the game permanently. Now you don't get 20% bonus damage. Happy now?

They're really only for your HoM anyway, or to trade to people who want them in their HoMs. If you want it in your HoM, bite the bullet, and then you can give it to a Hero.
